The saving power of Amida's Primal Vow is awakened in ordinary foolish persons, like ourselves, when we entrust our destiny entirely to the Buddha and single-mindedly recite His Name - Namo Amida Butsu (南 無 阿 彌 陀 佛). This Precious Gift of Salvation is our Easy Path out of samsara - the dreadful cycle of relentless birth, suffering and death.
