Khai Nguyen Buddhist temple

This video contains a complete and unabridged recitation of The Larger Sutra on Amitayus (also known as The Sutra on the Buddha of Infinite Life Delivered by Sakyamuni Buddha), Taisho Volume 12, Number 360. This version was translated into Chinese during the Cao-Wei Dynasty by Tripitaka Master Samghavarman of India and was translated into English from the Chinese by Hisao Inagaki in collaboration with Harold Stewart. It was published in a volume called The Three Pure Land Sutras by BDK America, Inc. in 2003. This volume is from the English Tripitaka Translation Project of BDK (The Society for the Promotion of Buddhism). Text screens in English and Chinese were provided by my friend Shaun, who also enhanced the audio. Shaun’s YouTube channel is called Dharmachakra Wheel of the Dharma. I encourage you to visit his site where he has posted a large number of videos highlighting Buddhist scriptures, mostly Mahayana. Many have text screens as well as background music.
