Khai Nguyen Buddhist temple

This excerpt from the Smaller Sukhavati-vyuha Sutra was published in "The Perfection of Wisdom: The Career of Predestined Buddhas", a selection of Mahayana Scriptures translated from the Sanskrit by E.J. Thomas, M.A., D.Litt., originally published in London by John Murray in 1952 as part of a Wisdom of the East book series. A facsimile edition was published in 1992 by Charles E. Tuttle Company, Inc. Thomas also wrote "The History of Buddhist Thought" and "The Life of Buddha as Legend and History".
